Normal weekly rest period in the vehicle

We’d like to drag the attention of our customers to the fact that Belgium and France began to fine on the prohibition of spending the normal weekly rest in the vehicles. This kind of trespass was not taken seriously by authorities until know, but recently the maximum amount of the fine has been raised from 55 to 1.800 Eur in Belgium, and in France where mostly the companies are the target if such infringement occurs, the max. level of fine is 30.000 Eur. The driver may be punishable with 1 year detention. Based on the feedback the control is not retroactive, only based on sight caught, during rest which just happens  while resting at the end of the week following the week containing a reduced weekly rest.
